KATHERINE PLACE can get her reward for a series of consistent efforts with victory in the Example Live Here 25th September Handicap (5.05) at Chelmsford.
The 11-4* shot has lost out by just a neck on her last two starts, most recently to revitalised performer Blue Moonrise at Chepstow.
The winner has since advertised the form, by carrying top weight to another success back at the Welsh venue.
On the selection's penultimate start, she improved from a slow beginning to race close up before leading with over a furlong to race.
Headed close to the finish, she kept on to run right up to her mark of 57.
It is a rating she last scored off in August 2020, when defeating the opposition by two lengths – and on her recent efforts she appears ready to strike once more.
