Police divisions have issued official warnings on scams related to online shopping mecca, Amazon.

We also told of fraudsters, predominantly in the Highlands and Islands, pretending to be from major banks when targeting vulnerable people.

In May, Scots were told to be wary of scammers contacting them under the guise of the Scottish Government's newly launched Track and Trace scheme.

Trading Standards Scotland (TSS) use the information given by the public to investigate unfair trading and illegal business activity, like rogue traders and scams.
