Top-selling superstar music tour arrives off Las Vegas Strip

Superstar singers and bands usually make the Las Vegas Strip or nearby T-Mobile Arena a stop on their tours with shows almost guaranteed to sell out.

Superstar rock band U2's residency U2/UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere runs through Dec. 16 at Sphere Entertainment's (SPHR) -) 20,000-seat Sphere at the Venetian on the Strip. U2 also performed at T-Mobile Arena May 11-12, 2018, on the Experience + Innocence Tour.

The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World, the Rolling Stones, played T-Mobile Arena for two sold-out shows on Oct. 19 and 22, 2016, and legendary former Beatle Paul McCartney brought his Freshen Up Tour to T-Mobile Arena on June 29, 2019.

Lady Gaga just ended her "Jazz + Piano" 12-show residency at MGM Resorts International's (MGM) -) Dolby Live at the Park MGM on Oct. 5. The superstar has indicated she would like to continue performing her residency "forever," and she might get her wish as reports say her residency will return in spring 2024. Dates for those shows have not been revealed yet.  Lady Gaga also performed at T-Mobile Arena four times.

Megastar Madonna rescheduled her Oct. 7-8 shows at T-Mobile Arena for March 1-2, 2024, after postponing her tour because of illness.

International superstar singer Bad Bunny, the top-selling touring act in 2022 according to Billboard, brings his "Most Wanted Tour" to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for the second and third shows of the 31-city, 47-show tour on Feb. 23-24. Fans can register by Oct. 22, 11:59 p.m., Eastern time at Ticketmaster.com to receive a randomly selected code that allows them access to the online sale on Oct. 25. 

Registrants will receive a registration confirmation within 24 hours and a second e-mail Oct. 24 informing fans if they will get access to the sale or waitlisted. Bad Bunny is asking fans to register for the sale to block bots and scalpers, get more tickets to real people who want to attend the show and reduce resale, since data shows 5% to 10% of tickets using registration are resold. Registration does not guarantee that every registrant will get access to the sale.

Bad Bunny offers VIP packages

The Bad Bunny tour will offer several VIP packages including the Ultimate Bad Bunny VIP Lounge Experience with a premium reserved ticket for the show, preshow VIP Lounge Experience with hors d'ourves and drinks, VIP gift item, photo opportunities, and early entry to the show.

Other packages include Early Entry Package with a general admission ticket, early entry, VIP gift item, dedicated VIP check-in location, and on-site VIP host and concierge team; Gold Premium Ticket Package with premium reserved ticket, VIP gift item, dedicated VIP check-in location, and on-site VIP host and concierge team; and Silver Premium Ticket Package also with premium reserved ticket, VIP gift item, dedicated VIP check-in location, and on-site VIP host and concierge team. No artist participation is included in any of the packages.   

After finishing 2022 as the top selling touring artist of the year, the three-time Grammy Award winner took a break from performing in 2023, except for appearances at Coachella, the Grammy Awards and the Latin Billboard awards. In October, Bad Bunny made history with his new album "Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana," which became the most streamed  album in a single day in 2023 so far on Spotify, tallying over 900 million streams. The Puerto Rican trap and reggaeton star's lead track on the album, "Monaco," reached No. 1 on the Spotify chart in 16 countries.
