Several of Scotland's top bars and restaurants have been shortlisted for a top national food and drink award.
The team at GQ magazine have revealed the nominees for their 2021 awards, which celebrate the bars, restaurateurs and chefs who've excelled in the past year.
Now in its seventh year, several Scottish names have made the grade.
Fresh from her success with winning Glasgow's first Michelin star in over two decades, Lorna McNee has been chosen as one of the finalists in the Best Chef category.
It's been a busy few years for Scots chef Nico Simeone with his Six By Nico restaurants opening up south of the border and in Northern Ireland, and his hard work is being rewarded with a Best Restaurateur nomination.
The Gate in Glasgow, which counts David Beckham as a fan, and Under The Stairs in Edinburgh are both up for Best Bar.
While Kevin Dow at The Gannet, Glasgow has been nominated for Best Front of House.
Chosen by the public, the finalists will go on to be judged by a panel of industry experts and foodies including Great British Menu judge Oliver Peyton and award-winning writer and chef Ravinder Bhogal.
The GQ team wrote: "While many sectors of the economy have been hit hard by the global pandemic, hospitality has perhaps suffered more than most.
"And yet despite all the challenges our nation’s bars, restaurants, hotels and pubs have faced, many have persevered, adapted their businesses, donated their services, supported their employees and demonstrated a resilience that can only be admired... and celebrated."
The winners will be announced in the August issue of GQ with it hoped that an awards ceremony will be hosted in early July at Nobu, Portman Square - should travel restrictions be eased by then.
