Top prospects shine as Alabama knocks off Georgia in SEC title game

Alabama’s star-studded offense made the nation’s most dominant defense look silly Saturday night, as Alabama put up huge numbers all night long in a convincing 41-24 win over top-ranked Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.

He’s not draft eligible just yet, but Crimson Tide quarterback Bryce Young led the way with a Heisman-worthy performance, throwing for over 400 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions.

The Tide’s talented tandem of Jameson Williams and John Metchie III led the way through the air, combining for 13 receptions and 281 yards, catching all three of Young’s touchdown throws.

Blue-chip talent was shining for Bama on defense, as well, with Jordan Battle’s late pick-six giving the Tide a commanding lead that would prove to be insurmountable.

This result likely ensures that both Georgia and Alabama will make the College Football Playoff, setting the stage for a potential rematch down the road.
