Four leading Palang Pracharath Party (PPRP) figures are being tipped for major cabinet posts, according to a highly-placed government source.
The PPRP is courting other parties to form a government but has kept the top jobs for itself.
If the pro-regime party succeeds in forming a coalition, it has reserved major cabinet posts for its senior figures, among them PPRP leader Uttama Savanayana as transport minister; party secretary-general Sontirat Sontijirawong as commerce minister; deputy party leader Suvit Maesincee as higher education, science, research and innovation minister and party spokesman Kobsak Pootrakool as finance minister, the source said.
