Top Portuguese paper chooses Berliner format

Portugal's most read weekly, Expresso, was relaunched in Berliner format at the weeked, and its first edition in the new shape sold out in less than four hours. The redesign, carried out by the consulting firm Innovations, included a total rethinking of the Lisbon-based paper, publishing 32 pages with two full-colour news sections plus two magazines. It already has a readership of 700,000, by far the country's largest weekly. (Via Innovations in Newspapers)
