If you like being ahead of the curve when it comes to cool events in Edinburgh, then look no further.
Hidden cocktail bar Panda and Sons in the New Town will be going fully French for one day only on 30 July and flying in top mixologists from Paris to delight your tastebuds with some seriously creative drinks.
Edinburgh-born cocktail guru Lachlan Rooney is coming back to his home city from top Paris bar called Le Syndicat - which is number 24 in Time Out's list of the very best bars in the city.
Tomorrow, he and his colleague Joanna Depute are flying over to Panda & Sons In Edinburgh to create an 'Auld Alliance' menu inspired by French ingredients.
They plan to showcase drinks from Le Syndicat's current and previous menu, plus some bespoke drinks created especially for the night, in conjunction with St. Germain and Grey Goose.
Lachlan told Edinburgh Live , "we're going to be bringing five amazing cocktails called: Hit the road Jack - Grey Goose, citrus, pink grapefruit, basil and pale ale. Also:
"Peach Dont Kill My Vibe - Grey Goose, saffron, cucumber, elderflower, peach
"Explosive - Noilly Prat, Rhubarb, Green tea, dill, pastis
"Cafe Germain - Grey Goose, peach, sichuan pepper, lemon, st germain foam
"So Fresh, So Clean - Grey Goose, Chartreuse, vermouth, salt, kombawa
"We kick off at 7pm at Panda and go till late. Expect hip hop, pyrotechnics and bon vivanting!"
