‘Top of the table’ - Nottingham Forest fans send warning to Leeds United and West Brom

Nottingham Forest have the opportunity to return to the top of the Championship when they face Blackburn Rovers at Elland Road this evening.

Having briefly occupied top spot following Friday night's 3-2 win at Stoke City, Forest were overtaken by West Bromwich Albion who beat QPR 2-0 on Saturday.

West Brom face a tough test away at Leeds United and Sabri Lamouchi’s side will be hoping to take full advantage of any slip up with three points at Ewood Park.

Can they get back to the top? Here's what fans are saying ahead of the game:

Forest manager Sabri Lamouchi (Nick Potts/PA Wire)

@KieranNFFC29: Another win tonight would be brilliant Leeds could drop all 3pts so could West Brom, we need to take these opportunities, our confidence is sky high.

@Suden29: It's gonna be a repeat of Friday. 2 - 3 including a return to the top of the table.

@NFFCFussey: Sabriball in full effect when Forest breeze the Championship this season.

@Brownmvp1983: Tough one tonight but fancy us to get the win.

@N55ffc: Looking at the stats we have to be favourites to win at Blackburn. Their “Home” results don’t read too well 7 points from 5 games in comparison to our brilliant away results of 11 points from 5 games. Yet to lose away we have to be confident of another win on the road.

@FretwellMartin: Well I’ve been several times over the years & never seen us win at Ewood, so I ain’t sure what to expect tonight tough game for me.

@Williambroome: I’ll settle for a point tonight. They’re a bit of a bogey side for us at Ewood Park. Score draw

@Gordieboy67: Blackburn were always a bogey team for us.

@MattFloyd79: Blackburn away I’ll honestly take a point.

@NFFCRed: 3 points tonight put us great position. On road again tough place to go Blackburn is.

@Hannahforest: After tonight, we would have played six games out of ten away, which is a bit unbalanced if you ask me. If after Blackburn we are unbeaten that will be impressive and a far cry from recent seasons, particularly 2016-17 when we lost 16 out of 23 but still avoided relegation.

@Nesto25: Big game again tonight. Hoping for more of the same but it will be very tough.

@Jtweets92: Can’t see us getting another win tonight, 4 on the spin away from home is close to impossible in the championship. Would take a point .
