- Among the deceased nuclear scientists are Fereydoon Abbasi-Davani, former head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation, Mohammad Mahdi Tehranchi, and three professors from Shahid Beheshti University: Abdulhamid Minouchehr, Ahmad Reza Zolfaghari, and Amirhossein Feghi.
- The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) reported that Iran’s Natanz nuclear site was hit, but Iranian authorities stated there was no increase in radiation levels.
