'Top level, average' - Arsenal fans torn over Ryan Fraser transfer after he helps to beat Spurs

Ryan Fraser has had a storming season for Bournemouth.

With just one game left to go this season, the Cherries star is the top of the pile when it comes to assists.

He has more than Chelsea star Eden Hazard this season, picking up his 14th of the season during the last-gasp 1-0 win over nine-man Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime.

Bournemouth are 13th in the Premier League table, and to have the highest assist-maker throughout the season is some feat.

Fraser has been linked with a summer move to Arsenal, having failed to agree on a new contract to remain at the Vitality Stadium.

Arsenal in pole position to sign Ryan Fraser with Bournemouth contract talks shelved

The Scotland international's current Cherries deal runs out in the summer of 2020, and with contract talks breaking down it leaves Bournemouth to cash in on him this summer, or risk losing him on a free transfer next year.

Fraser has admitted that a move to the Emirates Stadium would interest him when asked about speculation over his future.

He said: "They are a huge club, a massive club," he said of Arsenal's interest. "When you see your name thrown around you always think to yourself that you are a Bournemouth player and you try to do well.

"I'm not going to lie, you do feel good, especially when it’s a massive club."

But despite picking up a record 14th assist this season, against Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham, fans are split over a potential summer transfer.
