Top Irish musicians set to hold a live online concert in aid of Pieta House this weekend

Top Irish musicians are set to hold a massive online concert in aid of Pieta House this weekend.

The “Concert of Hope” will feature big names like Aslan’s Christy Dignam,  Walking on Cars, Hermitage Green, Brian Kennedy, The Saw Doctors, and many more.

The gig will be live streamed this Saturday at 5pm on Pieta's Facebook channel as well as on each of the acts' individual Facebook pages.

Proceeds from the show will go towards raising much needed funds for the suicide and self-harm prevention charity.

You can donate by clicking the  “Donate Now” button on the live stream on the charity’s Facebook page.

This is a part of Pieta’s wider Darkness into Light “Sunrise” appeal which will take place on May 9.

The annual Darkness Into Light walk on May 9 has been postponed due to Covid-19, but the suicide awareness charity are still in need of vital funds to keep their frontline services running.

This special appeal encourages people to donate what they can and to get up at 5:30am to watch the sunrise instead and to show community and solidarity with those impacted by suicide.

Pieta are also asking people to spread the message and offer hope by sharing their sunrise moment using the #DIL2020.
