Top Irish lawyer says you should 'NEVER' use your personal phone or laptop for work for crucial reason

A top Irish solicitor has warned people they should never use their personal phone or laptop for work purposes.

Richard Grogan, an Irish TikTok sensation, has told people that if a court case was to arise, their personal information could be scanned through if they use personal devices at work.

Mr Grogan said: "Using your own phone or own laptop for work purposes, simple advice, never, ever, ever do it.

"And I'm going to tell you why. Because if you use your own phone or computer or laptop, then if a court case comes up, those items can be subject to a discovery order.

"This means the courts dictate that someone can come in and check your phone or laptop to see what's on it relating to the business work, that means going through everything, including personal stuff.

"So, if you're using a work phone that's fine, or a work laptop, that's fine, if you're using your own one, then you've got a problem."

Hundreds of thousands of people have watched the solicitor's videos with thousands following him for up to date advice on their rights.
