IT

Creepy clowns and the mysterious disappearances of local children? There's only one nightmare that comes to mind and the 2017 remake of Stephen King's classic story was an instant hit.

Hellraiser

Who doesn't love a classic 80s horror? The iconic 'Pinhead' is only in this for around 10 minutes, but that doesn't mean the villain doesn't play his own part.

A puzzle box reveals a realm of sadistic monsters that terrorise a young woman. There's a remake of this in the works but nothing beats the original.

Carrie

No one does horror quite like Stephen King and there's no better classic film to put on than Carrie. It's a dream prom night turned into a nightmare for the unpopular and sheltered Carrie.

This coming-of-age horror ticks all the boxes if you want oodles of blood and a flash or two of telekinesis. Shout out to a young John Travolta in one of his earliest film roles.

Hotel Transylvania 4: Transformania

For those who prefer to spend a little less time behind a pillow or the nearest person and more time watching the screen, then get the kids involved with this new instalment of Hotel Transylvania. The animated franchise follows vampire Drac and his pals as they try to find a cure after they're transformed into humans.

Little Shop of Horrors

And if all you need this Halloween is a bit of a song and dance, then this New York florist has just the remedy. Hoping to turn around his fortunes, a needy florist purchases a blood-thirsty plant from a Chinese street vendor.

The plant - named Audrey - proves incredible for business, but it comes at a cost. The 1986 film is an adaptation of an off-Broadway musical from the early 80s, which itself is an adaptation of a 60s film.
