Top floor flat on fire in Scots town as emergency crews race to 'ongoing incident'

Emergency services are currently dealing with a fire at a top floor flat in a Scots town.

Fire crews raced to Winning Quadrant in Craigneuk, Wishaw, after the alarm was raised at around 1.20pm on Monday, November 29.

The fire service sent three appliances to the scene.

The blaze is affecting a top floor property at the estate.

Emergency services remain at the scene of the ongoing incident.

It's unclear yet whether anyone has been injured as a result of the blaze.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We received the call at around 1.22pm.

"Operations control mobilised three appliances to the scene.

"We remain in attendance."

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said officers are in attendance to assist the fire service.
