College football’s penultimate week offered little drama at the top of the polls.
Of the top five teams Ohio State and Georgia were the only ones to have some drama, with the Buckeyes beating former No. 9 Penn State by 11 and Georgia squeezing by then-No. 24 Texas A&M. As is tradition in the SEC, many top teams took the week off with FCS opponents and Clemson had a bye.
Oregon was the big dropper this week, falling from No. 6 to No. 13 after a loss at unranked Arizona State.
In the Big Ten, Ohio State is trailed by No. 9 Minnesota, No. 11 Michigan, No. 12 Penn State, No. 14 Wisconsin and No. 20 Iowa.
