Top financial guru Eoin McGee says RTE's How To Be Good With Money is set to return for a fourth series

Top financial guru Eoin McGee has announced that his popular personal finance show How To Be Good With Money is set to return for a brand new series on RTE One.

The hit programme aims to make the nation more financially savvy and sees Dublin native Eoin meet people with different financial goals.

He then conducts a financial audit, presents them with a financial plan to help them achieve their goals, and follows their ups and downs as they try to implement his plan and advice.

The third season of How To Be Good With Money only finished up on RTE last month but Eoin has revealed that the national broadcaster has already commissioned a new series of the show, which is set to hit screens in January.

The top financial planner made the announcement on Tuesday and said that anyone hoping to get their finances in order should keep an eye on his social media pages over the next week to find out how to take part in the new series .

"I have a little bit of news, it's just off the press, you are getting it exclusively. How to be Good with Money series four is confirmed and is coming back, so we will be on your TV stations in January," Eoin revealed while appearing on RTE Radio One's Today with Claire Byrne.

"Anyone who wants to apply for the show, keep an eye on social media over early next week and we will have all the application details at that stage."

Eoin also announced the show's return on Twitter following his radio interview as he shared an image of a cake he had been gifted to celebrate the upcoming series.

"If you were listening to @TodaywithClaire earlier you’ll have heard we are back for another series of “how to be good with money” if you’re interested in being part of the show I’ll post details early next week," he wrote.
