Neven Maguire has provided a perfect recipe for getting the best potatoes for your Christmas dinner.
The Cavan chef has been keeping his social media followers busy in recent times with a whole host of different recipes in the buildup to the big day.
These have come in the forms of posts, pictures, live chats and videos - with the latest advice coming on Tuesday.
Neven taught his followers and fans how to get the perfect mashed potatoes, a staple of most Christmas dinners.
Here are three tips and tricks to get things just right according to the celebrity chef.
Before draining, pop a tea towel over your potatoes.
"The tea towels sits on top and you pop the lid on. That extracts any excess moisture and will get you lovely dry potatoes" Neven says.

The easiest way to get lump free potatoes
"Make sure that you buy some high quality potatoes" Neven notes.
He recommends Roosters chopped into small pieces before being boiled for between 15 to 18 minutes.
"The easiest way to check if your potatoes are done is to just prod them with the point of a knife. You'll know then if they're good for mashing."
Neven uses his own contraption - a potato ricer - but says that a regular masher will do the job too.
If making creamy mash, add salt while heating up your milk/cream and butter
'Scalding' as it's known, will help give your potatoes a lovely creamy texture, but Neven says to make sure it doesn't get too hot for risk of burning or the butter caramelising.
