Top Bristol burger bar launches on Uber Eats - and it's offering a huge discount to celebrate

One of Bristol’s most popular independent burger restaurants is celebrating its launch on delivery app Uber Eats by offering a huge discount this week.

The Burger Joint, which has restaurants on Whiteladies Road and North Street, joined Uber Eats today and it is offering a whopping 40 per cent off burgers and sides all week.

The business, which was started in 2009 by former Bristol University student Dan Bekhradnia, is well known for its build-your-own burgers.

To get the 40 per cent discount, there are no codes required, you just head to the Uber Eats website or app, search for ‘Burger Joint’ and the discount will be applied.

Dan says the main reasons for moving over to Uber Eats was simply because they offered his restaurant a ‘really good’ package and one he couldn’t refuse as an independent business.

He said: “I’ve also noticed Uber Eats offer customers discounts on orders quite regularly - I’m often emailed personally with 25 per cent off codes - so we feel our customers will get better value when they order from us for delivery.

“Obviously we hope with the increased number of offers it will increase our order volume. Delivery is an essential stream of revenue these days. And we need to ensure we maximise that income.”
