*Spoiler alert for Netflix's Top Boy*
We finally got to return to Summerhouse after all this time but it wasn't always plain sailing.
The new run of classic series Top Boy - with the original run now re-branded as Top Boy: Summerhouse following a revival from streaming giant Netflix with some - saw some huge changes for veteran characters such as Sully ( Kane Robinson ) and Dris (Shone Romulus).
The ninth episode saw Sully kill Dris after the latter betrayed Summerhouse for London Fields by giving Jermaine the whereabouts of Sully and Dushane in exchange for more money to help daughter Erin.
Thankfully, Sully and Dushane survived but they punished Dris for his disloyalty.
One fan was heartbroken by the shocking dispatch of Dris, saying: "*spoiler alert * Top boy really killed off most the old characters & I'm upset. I'm mostly pissed about Dris cah Erin does not deserve to be in care now, she has NO ONE. MY CHEST"
Another viewer was also moved, saying: "The Sully and Dris scene in the last episode of top boy was so poignant"
However, some are convinced that we haven't seen the last of Dris after all.
One boldly claimed: "Top boy is so predictable now, I BET DRIS is still alive"
A different fan agreed: "Am I the only who thinks Dris from Top Boy is still alive?"
Another fan hoped that Dris would return but also concluded that it was a tragic end for him if he has breathed his last: "I can’t get over Dris smh A lot of people haven’t seen season 1 & 2 so they won’t know what a g he was. In this season he was a washed up older, who got f**ked up by balloons and addicted to drugs and a snake. But I understood why he did that Feel bad for him"
They added: "But something telling Dris didn’t die. Otherwise they would’ve showed it, maybe im clutching straws. Would feel for him if he did miss out on next season. He’s a top boy veteran and the other actors will probably get paid a lot more next season"
We'll have to wait and see if a twist is on the way!
