Top bakery to open city centre café and wine bar at Bristol Beacon

One of Bristol's best bakery chains is opening a new café in the city centre.

Having first launched on Church Road in 2017, The Bristol Loaf opened a Bedminster site in September last year which has proved just as popular.

The independent business uses only the highest quality, organic ingredients sourced as locally and ethically as possible in its food, washed down with coffee brewed by experienced baristas.

Both locations also feature open-plan bakeries, allowing customers to watch their first-rate cakes and pastries being brought to life in front of them.

And with the popularity of its two existing sites showing no signs of waning, Bristol Loaf is now on the verge of opening a third café - and it will be located at one of Bristol's most renowned landmarks.

It will launch its third café in the foyer of Bristol Beacon, formerly Colston Hall, in early June, featuring both inside and outside seating.

Customers will also be able to choose from a range of high quality natural wines supplied by Native Vine, sister company of Bristol Loaf.

"We’re over the moon to announce that we’re joining forces with the mighty Bristol Beacon," said Bristol Loaf on Instagram.

"Our new café and wine bar will be housed in the beautiful foyer area with plenty of outdoor seating too.

"From the beginning of June, we will be serving breakfast, lunch and small evening plates accompanied by specialty coffee and delicious natural wines from Native Vine."

There will be a wide range of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free products for customers to choose from.

In November 2020, Bristol-based design studio Phoenix Wharf won gold for the best hospitality project at the London Design Awards for its work designing Bristol Loaf's Bedminster Parade café.
