The caveat is that there’s no set killer. Every subsequent playthrough selects a random killer with their own campaign, killing style, and potential targets. It’s up to you to investigate the ongoing murders, talk to 30+ residents, explore 70+ interior locations, and uncover secrets that save the lives of these townfolks.
Witchbook

Witchbrook is Stardew Valley meets Harry Potter. It’s a 4-player co-op witch simulator, in which you learn magic at the Witchbrook College in the seaside village of Mossport. Aside from attending classes and mastering magical arts, you can partake in various extracurricular activities such as gardening and photography, or spend time with colorful characters and foster romance.
As mentioned above, Witchbrook is a 4-player co-op title, which means you can indulge in all the aforementioned activities with your friends or other players online. Whether it’s exploring Mossport on a broomstick or learning new spells, everything can be done in co-op.
Welcome to Elderfield

Welcome to Elderfield is a cozy horror RPG with handcrafted manga-like visuals and a lo-fi soundtrack. From decorating grand interiors to growing crops like pumpkins and eyeballs and protecting your land from creepy tentacle outgrowths, there’s plenty to see and do in Elderfield.
It’s a dark and unruly place, boasting an unsettling golden-brown color palette reminiscent of Courage the Cowardly Dog. Strange creatures lurk outside every house, and townfolks look straight out of a Junji Ito manga.
There’s a cozy mode that offers a more laid-back experience of exploring Elderfield, with farming, fishing, decorating houses, and romancing townfolks at the center of it all. However, the full game experience also includes a deep turn-based combat system that lets you fight alien creatures.
Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit

Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit is a life-sim game with handcrafted warm, watercolor art style, in which you play as a Spirit Scout on a quest to help local ghostly bears. It’s a sequel to 2021’s beloved Cozy Grove and features more spirit bears, expansive camp customization, and asynchronous multiplayer that lets you connect and bond with other Spirit Scouts online.
The game features dozens of characters and spirits you can befriend, each with a unique and elaborate backstory. In addition to completing quests, you can undertake fishing, collect shells, catch shells, and skip rocks, among other things.
Like Cozy Grove, Cozy Grove: Camp Spirit syncs with real-world time, bringing new daily quests and seasonal changes to the island.
TOEM 2

TOEM 2 is a 2.5D platformer photography adventure game with monochrome visuals. It’s a standalone sequel to 2021’s TOEM: A Photo Adventure, which currently sits at a score of 79/100 on Metacritic.
