Top 20 vintage baby names that are making a comeback, according to expert

Deciding on a name for your baby is no easy task, as there are so many to chose from. It can be tough for parents to narrow it down to one title, as names go in and out of fashion, usually with changing trends in culture and music.

But one expert has revealed the top 20 vintage classics for boys and girls that she says are making comeback. According to Mia Bardot, the editor-in-chief of Random Names, Eleanor is the top title that is resurfacing among new-borns. Meanwhile, James is the top classic pick for boys, placing 16th overall in the list.

Unlike monikers that reflect modern times, vintage names offer an "elegant and historical feel", sparking memories of time gone by. Such names' inspiration varies, from royal influence to literature and religious figures.

If you're looking for some classic inspiration, check out the full list of top 20 vintage baby names below.
