Top 20 old fashioned baby names predicted to make a comeback

It's a difficult decision for any future parents trying to decide on a baby name.

Every child is unique - but some baby names are more unique than others. For many of us, it wasn't uncommon at school to find two people in the same class with the same name, since many parents opt for traditional favourites.

However, a recent study by baby and nursery retailer Kiddies Kingdom has revealed which baby names are set to make a comeback. According to the study, name popularity goes in cycles, with monikers that were favoured by parents around a hundred years ago regaining popularity.

The research revealed the top 20 old-fashioned baby names set to make a comeback. Topping the list of girls' names are Annie, Ethel and Hazel. The study says that boys’ names Basil, Bernard and Gilbert are due to return in popularity too. Below we’ve taken a look at all the old-fashioned baby names set to make a comeback.
