In modern football, managers often struggle to stay at clubs for longer than a few seasons.
With fans and owners becoming increasingly fickle and impatient for results, the days of managers lasting a decade or so are long gone.
Top managers often get stick, and get sacked, for a lack of silverware or unattractive playing style, but that is not to say they were not successful at their club.
But many managers who have been heavily-criticised, such as Antonio Conte as an example, are actually alongside Premier League legends in terms of their points-per-game record.
So, who is the most success PPG manager in the history of the Premier League?
We crunched the numbers ahead of the start of the Premier League season,
Here's top 10 Premier League managers by points-per-game ahead of the start of this year's Premier League season.

Dutchman Hiddink was the Chelsea interim manager twice, after they sacked Luiz Felipe Scolari in 2009 and Jose Mourinho in 2015.
He was a fan favourite in both stints at the club, winning the FA Cup in his first spell, and guiding the team from 16th to 10th in his second.
9. Luiz Felipe Scolari (1.96 PPG - Chelsea 2008-9)

- Games: 25 Won: 14 Drawn: 7 Lost: 4 Points: 49

2. Sir Alex Ferguson (2.16 PPG - Manchester United 1986-2013)

- Games: 810 Won: 528 Drawn: 168 Lost: 114 Points: 1752

United’s struggles since his departure only serve to highlight his massive achievements and domination in the game.
1. Pep Guardiola (2.42 PPG - Manchester City 2016-present)

- Games: 114 Won: 87 Drawn: 15 Lost: 12 Points: 276
