Top 10 places to catch a stunning Scottish sunset

Scotland looks glorious in the sunshine (even though sunny days can be rarer than badly made Scotch whisky ), so when the warmer months come around, we always try to make the most of them.

And there is really nothing better after enjoying a hot day outdoors, than watching the colours begin to change as the sun begins to set.

Particularly when the waning light and shadows dance across our beautiful landscapes and scenery – it can be truly breathtaking.

With that in mind, here is our rundown of the most beautiful places to watch the sun go down across Scotland.

1. Eigg

This is one of the top views in Scotland, if not the UK, looking over to Rum from Laig beach on the Isle of Eigg.
