Top 10 highest-paid coaches in world football including Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp

Diego Simeone is the best paid coach in the world ahead of Antonio Conte and Pep Guardiola.

The Atletico Madrid boss proved his value by masterminding Liverpool's recent defeat in the Champions League.

And a France Football survey listing the highest earning coaches in the world has the Argentine clearly top of the table on an annual salary of £36.2m after signing a huge new three-year contract in February 2019.

Simeone, 49, is the longest-serving coach in La Liga and has won the title, two Europa Leagues nd twice reached the Champions League final since 2011.

He also banked £450,000 from his property portfolio and his stake in a Range Rover franchise.

Conte is second on the list after a lucrative 2019 where he signed for Inter Milan for a salary of £18.2m and then won £9m from Chelsea in compensation for his 2018 sacking.

Jose Mourinho had been ranked in the top two every year since 2005 but is now joint fifth with the same income Real Madrid's Zinedine Zidane.

The Tottenham boss has a basic salary of £15m along with commercial deals with Adidas and Hublot.

Max Allegri, who wants a Premier League club next season, is still getting paid £12.3m a year by Juventus despite leaving last year.

Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is ranked 11th on £10.9m after his sacking by Napoli was followed by signing a contract at Goodison Park worth £11m a season.
