No. 2 on our list of the best Georgia football players for the 2019 season is running back D’Andre Swift.
Swift, a native of Philadelphia, is entering his junior season in Athens. In his first two years, he has shared the backfield with Nick Chubb, Sony Michel and Elijah Holyfield, and in those two years he has rushed for nearly 1,700 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Last season, he accumulated 1,346 yards from scrimmage and 13 total touchdowns.
Right now, Swift is considered a Heisman hopeful, and rightfully so. He will not be sharing the backfield quite as much as in the past, and will be the go to guy on offense.
Look for Swift to approach the 1500 yard mark this season and become the next great one to come out of RBU.
