Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will greet Artiwara "Toon" Kongmalai, frontman of the Bodyslam pop-rock band, at Government House today and donate some money for the singer's charity run campaign.
After running for 27 days and more than 230 hours, starting from Betong district of Yala, Artiwara arrived in Bangkok last evening, when he was greeted by a sizeable crowd, including Bangkok governor Aswin Kwanmuang. The singer yesterday started his 73-kilometre run at Photharam district in Ratchaburi at 2am, passed through Nakhon Pathom, and ended up 12 hours later in Bangkok via Thawi Watthana district. Gen Prayut is expected to contribute some money to the singer's campaign when they meet at Government House today.
