Toohey's News, the Podcast Ep. 5: Paul 'The Chief' Harragon's glory days with the Newcastle Knights

The Chief - Paul Harrogan - joins Barry Toohey in Episode 5 of Toohey's News, opening up about his early years with the Newcastle Knights, his hunger to play first-grade football, and the heady days of the Knight's unforgettable rise to grand final glory in 1997.

But Harrogan's road to glory has been paved with hardship. The years before his meteoric rise to footballing fame in 1992 were plagued by injury and strife. He opens up with Barry Toohey on the hard road to the heights of representative football, including how he became embroiled in the infamous showdown between the ARL and News Limited that came to be known as the Super League War.
