The Newcastle Knights' star utility player, Connor Watson, has declared he's staying in Newcastle.
Watson - the second current Knights player to join Barry Toohey on the podcast - is laid up on the injury list after sustaining an ankle injury in June, but will resign with the Knights for at least another year.
"We're building something special here," Watson tells Toohey, "I don't want to miss out on that.
"I'm really enjoying playing under (coach Adam O'Brien). I haven't played much footy this year, so get back out there next year and see how it goes.
"I've just got to keep that going and stay on the field."
Watson joins Toohey in the 24th episode of Toohey's News: The Podcast to talk about the Knight's progress in 2020 and his life leading him to Newcastle.
