Too Hot To Handle star comes out as bisexual after Channel 4 'detox'

There are many things you expect to come out while undergoing a detox programme - but Chloe Veitch didn’t imagine being bisexual was one of them.

Essex-born Chloe, 24, found fame on Netflix series Too Hot To Handle and will soon be back on screen as part of Channel 4 ’s Big Celebrity Detox.

And it was during one of the exercises on the show that she discovered an element of her personality which she had previously overlooked.

"Doing breath work forced me to dig deeper, "she said. "I realised, ‘This is what’s bothering you – you’re bisexual and you haven’t told anyone.’

“I’ve definitely been battling it, to be honest. I mean, being in and out of little flings with girls. I felt like it was my dirty little secret so it has taken the weight off my shoulders."

She added to The Sun: "Because I’ve been on heterosexual dating shows, I’m just a bit anxious of public opinion.

“But at the end of the day, if I’m happy, that’s all that matters.

“I’m itching to go out there and date both guys and girls. It’s really exciting.”

Chloe added that her female celeb crush would be fellow bisexual reality star Megan Barton-Hanson, describing her as "so hot.”

If they ever cross paths they can talk about Love Island. Megan was the star of the 2018 series, coming fourth with Wes Nelson. Two years later, Chloe revealed that she was approached by the show but opted to appear on Too Hot To Handle.

She told the Evening Standard: "When I was getting cast for Too Hot to Handle, I actually got a phone call requesting to get a meeting to go on Love Island in London.

“But I turned it down because I thought…I know what I’m walking in to with Love Island.

"This new show is completely different. What if this new show is something that is more suitable and beneficial for me?”
