Amazon Prime Day 2025 best fan and air conditioning units: The top discounts so you're ready for the heatwave

The Amazon Prime Day 2025 sale feels perfectly timed. With temperatures anticipated to tickle the top end of the mercury over the next few weeks, you’ll be kicking yourself for not investing in a fan of some kind to take the edge off the heat.

Amazon, home to millions of products, naturally has plenty of fans to choose from.

There are desk fans to make WFH sessions slightly more refreshing, oscillating floor fans, high-powered tower fans and even air con units for those willing to invest in refreshing breezes long-term.

And come the flagship sale, they'll be cheaper than usual.

Amazon has announced its Prime Day sale will run from July 8 - 11, a whole 96 hours instead of the usual 48. The event will be stacked with discounts available for Prime membership holders only, so if you haven't signed up yet, now's your chance.

Prime membership is well worth the fee (£8.99 a month or £95 for the year). You get free and fast delivery, access to Prime Video, Music and gaming, not to mention services like an online library and picture storage and perks from the likes of Deliveroo.

What exactly does Prime Day mean on Amazon?

Prime Day is the catch-all term for Amazon’s annual flagship sale, during which Prime members can enjoy exclusive access to brilliant bargains across excellent electronics, spectacular smartphones, kindred Kindles and additional best-selling Amazon devices like the Fire Stick.

What do you get with Amazon Prime membership?

There’s a special offer on right now. Prime members can enjoy three months of Audible absolutely free until July 31. This includes one bestseller or new release each month and thousands of included audiobooks, podcasts and Originals.

If it's cooling fans you're after, it's a veritable fan club that Amazon has. We've rounded up the best-looking offers now to get a peek before the sale officially kicks off.

Meaco MeacoFan 1056 Air Circulator, White

As well as a blissfully low operation, Meaco’s small fan is highly energy-efficient too, meaning less of a pearl-clutching moment when the bills arrive. Highly rated by customers, the ultra-quiet fan has been awarded a Quiet Mark and can be placed on a bedside table for targeted cooling relief when you need it.

It’s an excellent choice for the bedroom in particular, with an ECO mode that automatically adjusts the fan speed after reading the room temperature and Sleep mode that will adjust the cooling rate so you won’t wake up shivering in the early hours.
