Tony Watt in hilarious Erling Haaland spoof as Motherwell striker tells Borussia Dortmund superstar 'that's how we do it'

Tony Watt has taken a potshot Erling Haaland - claiming a viral video featuring the Borussia Dortmund superstar is 'green-screened.'

And he showed the Norwegian how you do it properly with a Motherwell rendition of the widely shared clip.

Twitter went into meltdown on Thursday when Borussia Dortmund posted a video in which Haaland stacks three footballs on top of one another.

He then strikes all three, and one-by-one hits a target in the top left hand corner.

It was such an awe-inspiring feat that it sparked a debate over whether the video was doctored, or whether Haaland had actually just defied the laws of physics.

It was brought to Watt 's attention when the Bundesliga's official twitter account responded to a Scottish fan, jokingly admitting Haaland is no Tony Watt.

And the ex Celtic and Hearts striker wasted no time in taking advantage of the attention as he filmed his own version.

It's not quite the same, of course - instead of a target, it's teammate Corey O'Donnell standing in the distance with his arms raised.

And there are only two footballs this time - and they're both held in place - but Watt strikes it perfectly before turning to the camera and announcing: "That's how we do it. There you go Haaland."

Watch how it's done for yourself in the video player above.
