Tony Romo was fired up after chipping in for eagle in a PGA Tour event

Former Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who’s currently the top analyst/future teller at CBS, is playing in this week’s PGA Tour in Dallas.

And man did he get off to a nice start while playing with the pros at the Bryon Nelson Classic.

Romo, who is a very good amateur golfer, got the special invite for this one and immediately proved himself with a birdie on the first hole.

That must have felt pretty good for the former football star.

But then on the seventh hole he did something even better – he chipped in for eagle on the par 5.

And he was rightly pumped up about it:

A bogey on the 4th and a double bogey on the 9th had Romo at even par through 12 holes, which is pretty ridiculous.
