Tony Gonzalez, Johnny Robinson to receive Hall of Fame rings during halftime of Chiefs vs. Packers

A cool moment will take place at halftime during the Week 8 showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Green Bay Packers.

Tony Gonzalez and Johnny Robinson, who were inducted into Pro Football Hall of Fame this year, will be at Arrowhead Stadium to take another step toward being cemented in the franchise’s storied history.

During halftime, Gonzalez and Robinson will take part in a ceremony where they will be presented with their Hall of Fame rings. Each ring will have a custom inscription denoting their Hall of Fame induction year.  Pro Football Hall of Fame President and CEO David Baker, along with Chiefs CEO and Chairman Clark Hunt, will be on the field to present both players with their rings.

It’ll be a great moment for both Robinson and Gonzalez, as well as the many fans in attendance. Both players are already recognized in the Chiefs’ Ring of Honor, they’ve received their gold jackets and now will receive a final piece of recognition for the exemplary play.

If you’re at Arrowhead Stadium for the game, you won’t want to miss this piece of history.
