Tony Benn launches own Gaza appeal

This is clearly what Tony Benn thought ahead of his appearance on the BBC News channel to discuss the corporation's reluctance to broadcast the Gaza aid appeal. "If the BBC won't broadcast the appeal, then I'm going to do it myself... I'm sorry you're not going to stop me." And they didn't. Twice. "I know from the BBC because I have been here most of the morning, no one here agrees with what the BBC has done."
