Tonic Edinburgh announce tasty new 'cocktails at home' service

As lockdown continues in Edinburgh, bars, pubs and restaurants remain closed for the foreseeable future.

However, to cravings of cocktail connoisseurs across the city, Tonic have today announced their new 'Tonic at Home' service, bringing some of their well loved best sellers to your door.

After posting videos throughout lockdown of how to make your own homemade favorites from their classic drinks list. the popular Edinburgh bar decided to create a way to get their handcrafted drinks delivered.

Customers can now ordered vacum packed pouched of cocktails which will stay fresh for up to a week in the fridge or four weeks in the freezer.

There will be three flavours on offer, Pornstar Martini, Starburst Martini and 'There's no place like Tonic'.

Orders can also be made for Tonic glasses and shakers to recreate the experience of actually being at the Castle Street bar. The delivery service will go live on Saturday 9 May at 6pm and will deliver to all EH post codes.

Local residents were thrilled with the idea, with many commenting on the bar's social media. One commenter wrote "What a fab idea! Looking forward to giving them a try", with another user saying "yes please!".
