Chelsea's winless home run under new head coach Frank Lampard continued on Sunday afternoon as they were beaten 2-1 by Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Despite the loss, the players were given a brilliant reception from Blues' fans at the final whistle after going toe-to-toe with the European Champions.
Liverpool took the lead in the 14th minute, thanks to wonderful free-kick from Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Then came some VAR controversy.
The hosts thought thought they had equalised through Cesar Azpilicueta soon after, only for VAR to rule that Mason Mount was marginally offside in the build up.
Things went from bad to worse for the Blues, when Roberto Firmino doubled the Reds' lead on half hour mark which left Chelsea with a huge mountain to climb after the break.
To their credit, they did come out fighting in the second half. N'Golo Kante halved the deficit with a fine individual effort, but the Blues could not find the all important equaliser.
Football.london offered fans the chance to have their say on who impressed - and who didn't - in the narrow defeat.
And the player with the highest rating was defender Fikayo Tomori.
In second place behind the centre-back was Kante, who marked his return to action following four games out with the goal that gave the home side hope of a comeback.
Lampard praised both players after the game.
"We end up not being surprised by Kante," Lampard said. "I have to single out Tomori as well, to go up against Salah. Everything he did today was class."
Those with the lowest scores were striker Tammy Abraham - who couldn't add to his seven league goals so far this season - and Willian who didn't have the best of times.
