Former St Johnstone boss Tommy Wright is the bookies favourite to succeed Stephen Robinson as Motherwell manager.
Wright's fellow Northern Irishman quit Fir Park after last night's 2-0 defeat at home to Kilmarnock left the Steelmen 10th in the Scottish Premiership - following a run of nine games without a win.

And he has been installed as the 6/4 favourite by bookmaker McBookie to take the reins.
In their announcement revealing Robinson had resigned, Motherwell stated they would "move at pace" to appoint Robinson's successor.
Keith Lasley has been installed as interim manager, stepping up from his previous role as Robbo's assistant, and he is second favourite to land the gig permanently at 4/1.
Surely it is either Tommy Wright or an internal appointment for Fir Park? https://t.co/7t0seN8I2o pic.twitter.com/MdsoxRHztc

Wright has been out of the game since he resigned as Saints boss in May and, having over seven years experience of managing in the top flight, he could be seen as an ideal candidate to haul 'Well out of a relegation dogfight.

Fir Park coach Maurice Ross is priced at 6/1 alongside former 'Well defender Stephen Craigan and former Livingston gaffer Garry Holt, with ex-Hearts boss Craig Levein and ex-Rangers star and current Kelty Hearts gaffer Barry Ferguson among the outsiders.
