Tommy Tiernan hints at podcast with Joe Biden

Funnyman Tommy Tiernan has hinted he could soon record a podcast with Joe Biden.

The comedian has been making waves with his podcast alongside his life long friend Hector O hEochagain and now he’s eyeing up the next US president.

He told Brendan O’Connor on RTE Radio One: “There is a real possibility of going to the White House to meet Joe Biden and do a podcast.

“His Irish relative Laurita Blewitt is expecting a phone call from Joe, she’s definitely heading over for the inauguration and she said she’s going to take myself and Hector as well.

“So fingers crossed. Please God we’ll get to meet Joe and do a good podcast.

Tiernan admitted that he is still fascinated by current president Trump, comparing him to the iconic villain JR Ewing from the hit US soap Dallas.

He said: “I’m phenomenally attracted towards Trump. I think it’s because he reminds me of JR [Ewing].

“He’s the bad boy, he doesn’t care what people think, he’s ploughed on with his evil agenda, he really is like a TV character baddie.

“Melania is like Sue Ellen, perhaps Cliff Barnes is the Joe Biden of Dallas?

“Even people who are talking about uniting America are having a go at Trump – it’s too easy to pick on the turtle who’s lying on his back flailing in the sun.”
