Tommy Sheridan's emotional Celtic Queen's Speech erupts as he begs 'let's not turn in on each other'

On first glance, you wouldn't imagine Tommy Sheridan and the Queen would have much in common.

The firebrand politician has spent a career railing against the establishment but the Celtic diehard certainly tapped into some Lizzy magic with his Christmas address to Hoops supporters.

With a Celtic scarf wrapped around his neck, Sheridan reeled off the high and lows for the Premiership champions from January until now.

And it was the current struggles in the quest for Ten In A Row that really got the 56-year-old animated during his latest video address as he urged fed-up fans to stick together.

A section of the club's support are expected to be in attendance at the Trust's planned protest calling for change in the boardroom and the dugout.

It will take place just before Celtic's clash with Kilmarnock and 24 hours ahead of an AGM where Peter Lawwell, Neil Lennon and potentially Dermot Desmond will be put under the microscope.

But Sheridan is waving the white flag and wants fans to put the current run of three wins in 13 matches into perspective.

He said:  "I appeal, to you, as Celtic fans.

"Yes, let's be passionate, we don't want to lose that but also have a sense of proportion and a sense of perspective.

"We are all Celtic fans, whether it is Neil Lennon in the dugout or anyone else in the dugout.

"So let's not turn in on each other, let's not start attacking each other.

"Let's have opinions and passion but let's always remember 'we're Celtic supporters, faithful through and through'.

"We don't turn on our own, we stay united, and we hope 2021 brings us the success and the Ten that we all crave.

"Hail hail, brothers and sisters."
