Tommy Robinson BANNED from Snapchat a month after being kicked off Facebook

Tommy Robinson has been banned from Snapchat, it has been claimed.

The ban on the far right extremist follows similar moves by Instagram, Twitter and Facebook as well as severe restrictions on his YouTube account.

In a screengrab posted to his website it appears Snapchat emailed the EDL founder last night saying the account had been terminated for violating the social media apps terms of service.

The email states “due to a violation of our Terms of Service, which you agreed to when you signed up for Snapchat, your account “trcensored1682” has been deleted.

"Please note: We cannot recover the deleted account for you. Also, as stated in our Terms, Snapchatters who have had their accounts deleted are prohibited from creating new accounts."

Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, told his own website: “This is insane, I’m banned from the world.

“None of these platforms has shown me what terms I breached and/or what posts were in breach."

The website claims that Robinson plans to launch a Telegram account "that cannot be shut down".

Telegram is a cloud-based instant messaging and voice over IP service.

In recent months Robinson has served as an advisor to UKIP leader Gerard Batten and spoke at a 'March to Leave' protest on Friday.

Mr Batten wants the party to change their rules to allow Robinson to be a member.

His embracing of the EDL founder has seen a swathe of party members quit with 'The Brexit Party' set up and currently led by Nigel Farage.
