Former Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has joked his sex tape with ex-girlfriend Pamela Anderson "broke the internet" before Kim Kardashian's.
The 59-year-old musician, who was married to the Baywatch star from 1995 to 1998, reportedly told his pal Guerin Swing he is "proud" to have created history as Disney+ are in the process of making a new show about the infamous tape, which was leaked 25 years ago.
Mamma Mia's Lily James will portray blonde beauty Pamela in the series, while Avengers actor Sebastian Stan is set to take on the role of Tommy.
According to his pal, Tommy will be tuning in. But Pamela will reportedly never watch the show as she believes the sex tape "ruined" their four-year marriage.
And Tommy's pal claims he wants everyone to know that the pair's antics came before Kim Kardashian and Ray-J's sex tape was leaked in 2002.
He told The Sun: "Tommy said to me the other day, 'Let everyone know we did it first. Before the Kardashians, before anyone else. Let the mother-f***ers know, we broke the internet first'."
Guerin added: "Itss essentially them just being kids, goofing with a video camera, a new toy. Tommy never showed me or anyone the video. He never talked bad about Pam. It wasn’t for anyone else to see."
Tommy and Pamela share two sons - Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger Lee - together.
Brandon is a reality TV star and actor, while Dylan is a musician, like his dad.
Disney+ will stream new series Pam & Tommy in the UK.
The network has already given audiences a glimpse of the new miniseries, with Lily James and Sebastian Stan set to star as the infamous couple.
The eight episodes will tell the story of the chaotic and glamorous married couple following the leak of their infamous honeymoon sex tape, which was stolen and released to the public.
Described as the "first ever viral video in history", the limited series will show its fallout from when Pamela and Tommy married less than a week after they first met in 1995.
The show's official Instagram page has been teasing behind the scene snaps of Lily and Sebastian in their Pamela and Tommy garb, showing the remarkable transformation both have made to inhabit the roles.
In one snapshot Lily wears Pamela's iconic red swimsuit to recreate her role as a Baywatch lifeguard and is seen jogging beachside.
The official trailer sets the scene for the leaked tape scandal, showing Seth Rogen's character, Rand Gauthier, as he steals it from their home to be distributed.
