Tommy Fury told his boxing career could be over this weekend in front of Jake Paul

Tommy Fury returns to the ring on Sunday against Paul Bamba, with the fomer Love Island star hoping to continue an unbeaten start to his professional career.

He fights on the undercard of Deji vs Floyd Mayweather Jr in Dubai on Sunday in a crossover exhibition fight as part of the DAZN Misfits series which sees celebrities and professional boxers facing each other on the same card. Fury has not fought since beating Daniel Bocianski at Wembley on the undercard of brother Tyson's world title fight against Dillian Whyte.

Jake Paul is expected to be in the crowd alongside KSI for the event, with Fury having withdrawn from two fights against the American in the past 12 months. He will be keeping a close eye on Fury as well as his sparring partner Anthony Taylor, who fights another Love Island star as he takes on Jack Fincham at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.

Taylor's fight against Fincham is on the undercard alongside Fury's and the former sparring partner of Paul had some strong words for Fury, saying that the fight could end his career should he suffer a knockout. Taylor lost to Fury in August 2021 via unanimous decision but has claimed that he is the 22-year-old's only 'legitimate' opponent so far

Taylor was speaking to Vegas Insider, explaining: "I am the only legitimate competition Tommy Fury has faced, he's a bit of a fraud if I'm truthful. Big John Fury must despair at Tommy's progress and opponents.

"Yet there's still a chance that Paul Bamba ends Tommy's career on November 12. That's what I'm predicting, the retirement of Tommy Fury after a devastating KO. Big John and Tyson Fury will then have to make an intervention. They'll need to sit down and tell him he's not a real fighter."
