Tommy Fury has begun to establish his name in his own right in the world of boxing and could be set for a meteoric rise if he overcomes his next opponent.
An official announcement for a bout against Jake Paul in Miami on December 18th is expected imminently, where the pair's rivalry will come to a head.
Fury 's 7-0 record in his fledgling boxing career is a stellar start to his journey and, on paper at least, he will be expected to overcome Youtuber-turned-boxer Paul in the ring.
However, while the opponents he has faced so far have left a lot to desire, Paul is establishing himself in the boxing ring and it's clear he plans to stick around and become a star.
Should Fury emerge victorious, the world would be his oyster but there are a few names who could crop up as a future opponent.
Logan Paul
Jake's older brother, 26-year-old Logan Paul as a career in the ring of his own after a exhibition fight against Floyd Mayweather in June, where he took the boxing great the full distance.
While he's not been in the ring since, Logan criticised Tommy Fury for failing to knock out Anthony Taylor, who was his sparring partner prior to the fight with Mayweather.
Tommy's father, John Fury, has also thrown his weight behind a potential bout by telling the True Geordie Podcast: "Once he smashes, sorry when he smashes Jake Paul, he'll take on his brother Logan and smash him along if he fancied it."
Idris Virgo
Like Fury, Idris Virgo is of Love Island fame but has more experience in the ring with a record of ten wins and a single draw.
The super-middleweight has relentlessly pursued a fight against Fury, who has refused to even acknowledge Virgo, and is yet to break into the mainstream.
While Virgo isn't a top-tier opponent, he would provide a stellar test to Fury - and I'd pay good money to see the fight take place at Casa Amor.
Aaron Chalmers
A former Bellator MMA fighter more known for his appearances on Geordie Shore and Ex On The Beach, Aaron Chalmers has reportedly turned down a bout with Anthony Taylor in the past, who Fury overcame earlier this year.
Chalmers has since not ruled out a future bout with Fury and has recently called out Jake Paul himself, declaring that he's targeting the 'wrong' opponent in Fury.
However, he is yet to make his boxing debut and Fury may feel he requires a more superior opponent if he sees off Paul.
Tyron Woodley
Tyron Woodley was defeated by Jake Paul in Cleveland earlier this year and quickly announced his intention for a rematch - but finds himself at the back of an extremely long list.
Woodley will have to play the waiting game to secure a rematch with Paul and will have to stay active, with a fight against Fury potentially providing an avenue towards his goal.
Should Paul beat Fury, it may be a solid bet to face Fury up against Taylor and state that the winner is the only man who will get a rematch.
Jake Paul rematch
If Fury does overcome Jake Paul, it's highly likely the American will pursue a rematch - and the mammoth prize money on the table would be difficult to turn down.
Fury's brother Tyson has seen great success with repeated bouts against Deontay Wilder and Paul could be Tommy's opponent to follow a similar pattern.
A rematch may present the opportunity to bring Paul to British shores, which would give Fury an opportunity on the big stage in front of home fans as well as introducing Paul to a wider British audience.
