Tommy Fury's birthday surprise for Molly-Mae ends in disaster as he sets off fire alarm

Molly-Mae Hague was left fuming on her birthday when boyfriend Tommy Fury flooded their home with smoke after a cooking experiment went horribly wrong.

The Love Island beauty had been confined to her bedroom all day while boyfriend Tommy got to work building a surprise to celebrate her 21st birthday.

Molly-Mae had been patiently waiting for her big surprise while laying around in bed, but things went terribly wrong when smoke filled the room and an alarm rang out across the entire building.

Taking to Instagram stories on Monday, the reality star explained the scenario and pointed the finger of blame squarely at her 21-year-old boyfriend.

She huffed: “Honestly, you could not write this. I’ve left Tommy downstairs all day now, and what’s just happened?

“The fire alarm’s gone off.”

But there was worse to come.

She continued: “The fire alarm in the whole building, because literally there is smoke everywhere.

“The smoke filled this room. All I can smell is burning.”

She added: “And I’m pretty sure all he is cooking is a pizza.”

Taking to his own Instagram Stories, Tommy confirmed he had, indeed, burned a pizza.

He later shared a video of himself and Molly-Mae in bed together eating a delivery pizza from Dominos instead.

He also teased his girlfriend that she would have a big surprise in the morning.

After spending all day preparing, he said: “I can’t wait for you all to see what I’ve done. I think I’ve gone OTT. But you’ll have to wait until the morning to find out.”

Molly-Mae and Tommy have been inseparable since they met on Love Island last summer.

The pair ended up being runners up on the fifth season of the show – losing out on the top spot to winners Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea, who split up shortly after leaving the villa.
