Tommy Fury opens up on sparring with brother Tyson ahead of return to the ring

Tommy Fury has lifted the lid on his sparring sessions with brother Tyson ahead of his return to the ring.

Fury, 20, will be in the ring for the first time this weekend since finishing as runner-up in ITV show Love Island.

His opponent is yet to be confirmed but Fury is learning from the very best in the shape of former world heavyweight champion Tyson.

The brothers enjoyed a sparring session earlier this week and Tommy admits he still has some way to go to reach Tyson's levels.

He told BT Sport: "It is always good. I can learn everything off him. But there's not that much point sparring him because I can't land a shot!

"But the experience counts at the end of the day.

Asked if Tyson goes easy on him, Fury added: "Sometimes, but depends if he has had his dinner!

The Love Island star, who is set to be supported by girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague and other contestants this weekend, has split from trainer Ricky Hatton.

He admits the pair were unable to work together due to his schedule since leaving the ITV show as he juggles his boxing with his new-found fame.

But Fury insists his focus is on his return to the ring with his sights set on a victory.

"I have been very busy but life is good since coming out of Love Island. You only live once so I am taking every opportunity I can," he added.

"It is back down to business. Nothing else is on my mind except fight night and I am ready to put on a show.

"I am going to show what I can do in the ring. Love Island was great but I am a fighting man, not a reality man."
