Tommy Fury offered fight by YouTube star Viddal Riley after beating Jake Paul

Tommy Fury has been offered a fight by YouTube star Viddal Riley after his win over Jake Paul.

The British star finally settled his rivalry with influencer Paul in Saudi Arabia last month, picking up a split decision win which sparked wild celebrations in his corner. It was arguably the toughest examination of Fury's short career so far, and it will now see him open up two routes in the sport, including a return to the traditional hunt for a British title.

Fury was handed a world ranking after picking up his win, which saw him ranked at No.39 in the WBC cruiserweight division, one place ahead of Riley. Naturally with the pair at a similar weight, Riley has regularly been thrust into a potential showdown with either Paul or Fury, with his chances also boosted due to his large fanbase from his own YouTube career.

And in a call-out video, Riley has suggested that a ring meeting would be a natural step for Fury if he is to test the waters at becoming world champion. "I'm ranked number 40, Tommy is actually ranked 38," Riley said on his YouTube channel when responding to Fury's win over Paul. "I've seen him say in multiple interviews: 'My goal is to be a world champion'.

"He preaches that he wants to be a world champion. I am not currently world championship quality. I have the potential to be - and I will get there - but as it stands I'm not. "So if you have aspirations of being a world champion, as do I, we are close in ranking, it would be a massive fight, the people would turn out. People would turn out for you. People would turn out for me. If that's your aspiration, why look anywhere else?

"What are you saying? Otherwise. stop the speech about the world champion thing and just say that you're going to move up the YouTubers and make your money. If that's the case, then that's the case. But if you're aspiring for the same thing I'm aspiring for, and the rankings get released like this."

Riley himself has picked up eight wins as a professional and has been gradually stepping up his level of opposition while fighting under the BOXXER banner. Despite his call-out, it is likely that Fury will first face an immediate rematch with Paul who confirmed he intends to activate the contracted clause to a sequel.

Fury has also been called out by Paul's rival KSI if he is able to navigate another win over the 'Problem Child'. It remains unclear if Fury will continue boxing influencers given the opportunity of higher prize money and audience exposure, which his dad John has hinted he could remain involved in.
