Tommy Fury explains how Molly-Mae reacted to Jake Paul leaking baby news

Tommy Fury has insisted partner Molly-Mae Hague was "sweet" after Jake Paul appeared to leak the birth of their child Bambi.

Fury is currently in Saudi Arabia ahead of his grudge fight with YouTube star Paul tomorrow night, which will finally settle a feud which has spanned over two years. The pair have traded verbal barbs for several weeks prior to the fight's official confirmation which both Paul and Fury announced in statements on social media.

In Paul's statement it appeared that the 'Problem Child' had escalated the rivalry further by leaking news that Fury's newborn child Bambi had been born, prior to the ex-Love Island winners officially confirming the birth. Fury boldly denied the claim after he broke his silence following the birth of his first child.

At a press conference to launch their fight week on Thursday, Paul and Fury sat down in a face-to-face interview where the influencer attempted to make a sincere apology for spilling the beans. The 26-year-old brandished a plush gift for partner Hague to give to newborn Bambi which Fury accepted gracefully despite their previous war of words.

Despite Paul's insistence that he was responsible for the leak, Fury and Hague were uninterested as many other sources online had already guessed that their new child was on the way. The British star said: "This guy is all the way overseas and he's putting out a statement, so are 20 million other people. He doesn't know anything about our private life. Me and Molly both looked at that like 'okay, sweet'."

Hague and Fury shot to fame after finishing second on reality TV series Love Island and have a huge army of fans who were desperate to find out news of the birth. After Paul handed over the present, Fury's father John was impressed and put their bitterness to one side to thank his son's rival.

Paul has regularly dragged Hague into the rivalry given her status back home in the UK and it appeared he looked to finally bury the hatchet hours before his showdown with Fury. During a previous interview, Paul had already made a dig at Hague and admitted he intends to make her cry on fight night.

"He has kind of been forced into this by the fans, the media, his family and probably Molly," Paul said on BT Sport. "She is probably sitting there going, 'Yo I just had a baby (daughter, Bambi) I can't be the one to pay the bills the entire time'. He is going to be paid 20k a fight, minus taxes.

"This is his biggest pay day and he is going to actually be able to support his family a little bit if he gets a good wealth manager and invests his money properly. Molly is probably like, yeah bro I'm tired of being the bread-winner of this relationship. You're gonna see his girlfriend cry once I knock him the f*** out and he's unconscious."
